Ad-hoc Committee of the Secretary-General

Single Delegate

Topic and Background Guide will be released during Committee Session I.

Dear delegates,

Hey everyone, I’m Adam! I’m a Junior studying Political Science and Urban Studies. I absolutely love public transportation, realistic sci fi, US history, and government TV shows. In my view, Model UN isn’t a just an activity, it’s a mindset that emphasizes openness and collaboration. I am greatly looking forward to being your Crisis Director for this year’s SMUNC!

As a former co-captain of our travel team and a former USG of SMUNC, I can tell you that every conference at Stanford is special. We’re super excited to give y’all a weekend to remember in the best region in the world, the Bay Area. See you soon!

Adam Tarr

Dear delegates,

Hello delegates! My name is Lukas Bryant, and I am the chair of the Ad-Hoc committee. I am a sophomore here at Stanford studying political science with additional interests in international relations and urban planning. I have been involved in Model UN since middle school and spent much of my time in high school competing both across the country and internationally. This is my second year chairing at SMUNC. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer and watching the English Premier League. I also love camping and hiking and have spent many of my summers visiting Yellowstone National Park (I do recommend).
